~~Welcome to our amazing BLOG~~

Hi everyone!
We decided to jump on the blog bandwagon and start one of our own. Welcome to our world!!
Here is an update on what we've been doing...

Mary is now comfortably 7 months pregnant with our first baby. We are having a little baby girl. She works part time as an esthetician in a local salon. She enjoys getting things ready for the baby and is already looking forward to the day when the baby will be here and she won't be pregnant anymore! It's not that pregnancy is that bad but she thinks about the baby constantly and is getting a little anxious about the rest of the pregnancy, labor and birth especially! Yikes!!

Matt is also getting ready for baby and is going to be the best dad ever!! He is always helping me out and is very patient with his pregnant wife. He works for MRM Worldwide but is currently looking for a new job because the contract with GM will end in March. Matt likes to watch TV, movies and read books. He usually only communicates through Facebook. So, this will be something new for him.

The holidays were fun for us. We spent time with both of our families and also got to relax a little with just the two of us which was really nice. Last year we tried to go to everyone's house for everything but it wore us out, so we decided to take it easy this year. On Jan 2, we headed out to Jackson Hole, WY for some winter fun. We met Matt's parents and some of their friends out there and headed to Yellowstone Nat'l Park where we stayed at the Old Faithful Lodge and went snowmobiling through the park. It was amazing and beautiful and we loved it! We saw tons of wildlife and had so much fun! It was a pretty short trip but we had a blast but we don't recommend traveling during the holidays. We had two flights cancelled and it was a pain in the booty. We were actually happy to see the Detroit Airport! Can you believe it??

As for the New Year, so far so good. We are just trying to get ready for baby and waiting to see what happens with Matt's job.

PS- What does soiled core mean?

Soiled Core is what Matt would have named his band if he ever had one. When I asked him what he wanted to call the blog, that is what he said...since he doesn't have a band.
